The UNION protocol is a technology platform that combines bundled protection with a multi-token model and allows DeFi participants to manage their multi-layer risks across smart contracts and protocols in one scalable system.
UNION decreases the barriers to entry for retail users and lays the foundation for institutional investors.
UNION’s mission is to provide a protection marketplace, protocol, and provide software that pairs risk takers in DeFi with parties willing to sponsor those risks, in return for premium payments.
UNION’s vision is to give retail investors the tools that are common in TradFi to better allocate their capital.
We want users to feel they have adequate protection from Adverse Events, and Vulnerabilities.
UNION’s token model is architected for success and scale using a multi-tier model with clear separation of function for each token:
Governance token and protection tokens are separated to prevent conflicts of interest and detach governance from market dynamics of buying and writing protection.
We are truthful and honest in all forms. When confronted with difficult decisions, we choose to do the right thing, especially in the face of adversity.
We believe that DeFi tools and risk management should not be closed of to the elite few but should be accessible to the masses.
We are transparent in development and in code. The beauty of the blockchain is that it allows us to be completely transparent and open.
